Health & Safety Considerations
1) Ineligibility Criteria

We CANNOT tattoo anyone who:

-
is under the influence of illicit drugs, heavy sedatives, or alcohol

-
is pregnant or breastfeeding

-
is taking blood thinners, immunosuppressants, or antibiotics

-
is going through fertility treatments

-
suffers from hemophilia

-
is sunburned, too tanned, or has other skin conditions that may make tattooing the area impossible

2) Allergies & Ink Reactions
While our artists use only professional-grade tattoo inks that are vegan-friendly, sterile, and are vigorously tested to meet strict North American safety standards; we cannot reasonably predict whether a person might have a reaction to the natural pigments used (most commonly red).

Consider Testing If You:

-
Have persistent or recurring skin changes around an existing tattoo, particularly in red-pigmented areas

-
Have a personal or family history of atopic conditions such as eczema, hay fever, or asthma

-
Have experienced prior reactions to cosmetics, hair dyes, or other products containing similar chemical compounds

* For those with a known history of ink sensitivity (including pigments, dyes, or other products containing similar chemical compounds), we require a patch test be performed no sooner than 2 weeks prior to the intended tattoo date. Patch tests are charged at our shop minimum to cover cost of set up and must be evaluated prior to booking the tattoo appointment. The client assumes all risks related to any patch testing.
3) Doctor's Notes
Please note that, due to liability considerations and our insurance requirements, we MUST receive a doctor’s note before we can proceed with tattooing clients who have any of the following medical conditions (and that a NEW NOTE MUST BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO EACH APPOINTMENT to ensure ongoing medical clearance):

-
diabetes (type I & II) *No tattoos below the knee*

-
heart disease

-
seizure disorders

-
serious skin/blood disorders
-
have a known history of severe allergic reactions or skin sensitivities relating to dyes/pigments

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however there are no exceptions.
Failure to obtain a doctor's note/if any ineligibility criteria apply on or before the day of your appointment, we will not be able to proceed for reasons of safety and liability and you will forfeit your deposit to help cover artist fees.

We have a ZERO tolerance policy for rude, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour
